About Roger Miller

New Jersey native, Roger Miller, holds geography and music degrees from Miami University (Ohio) and has studied oboe with Charles Lehrer, Louis Rosenblatt, Dennis Larson, and Marc Lifschey. In May 2011 he retired from the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (English horn, 1st oboe, 2nd oboe) after 41 years of service.

Roger established his business in 1979 to provide the highest possible quality reeds and supplies for the oboist. Mr. Miller has been making reeds for over 50 years (whew!!) and has been dealing with some French suppliers for over 45 years.
